The Universe Tends to Unfold as It Should....Right: Riding ›

Writing is a lot like

Riding a bike

It’s something you can pick up and play with,

You never forget it,

 Despite how much time

Has passed by.

So when I’m writing

I’m actually riding

Along the white pavement

Of Blank pages

Letting my pen make its own path

Black-ink skid marks on newly paved driveways.

As a kid, I could ride for days

And now I write in exactly the same way.

Sunshine scenery floods my eyelids,

So I translate colors to the page

 As my pen waves.

I peddle ideas to get the wheels rolling,

Gears grinding down winding trails

Of introspective enclaves

A mental exercise that keeps me in constant shape

And although I often pump the brakes

Taking a break from works I create,

I’m always reminded of this gift given by God’s grace.

So for all of you who have experienced days of laze,

It is never too late

To brush the dust off your bike.

Ride once again, don’t let talents go to waste.

Start peddling your art.

Whether it’s

Singing

Sketching

Painting

Performing

Dancing

Fashion

Toe-Tappin’ and Tap-Dancin’

Or simply

Imaginin’

Please, don’t forget your passion.

As for me,

I’ll be riding along,

Because for me,

I can never write too long.
